CoWN Schooling Classes
Schooling Classes are intended to provide a low-pressure, educational environment for horses of all ages and OPEN riders. These classes will NOT be judged.
Schooling and repetition of maneuvers or obstacles is permitted; however, exhibitors must maintain forward progress and classes should continue to move efficiently and remain comparable to standard classes/division times. Excessive schooling, unnecessary delays, disruption of class flow, or blatant repeated disobedience may result in the exhibitor being whistled off or excused at the judge’s discretion.
Once the required pattern, course, or work has been satisfactorily completed, the judge will whistle the run complete regardless of remaining time.
Unsafe, abusive, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
Cow Work
Cow work time limit: 2 minutes 30 seconds (2:30).
Intended to be a fence work class; however, boxing is permitted.
Excessive rough handling of cattle will not be tolerated, including excessive fencing or unnecessary/excessive running of cattle.
Reining, Ranch Pleasure, and Ranch Trail
· Classes will follow the posted pattens.
· Maneuvers may be repeated up to two additional times beyond the pattern.
